"Ownership" possibly connects with "morality" by the expectation for a "proprietor" to manage an establishment in as tasteful a manner as possible.
Tasteful semantically meaning "fair", fostering or curating community or "society", and giving sense of life, purpose, and/or being.

Perhaps, one definition should read "duty to extract value, add purpose, or make meaningful".
