Dutch[edit]

Under the entry hoor, prostituut is listed as a Dutch synonym. Ragityman 10:57, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

That is Estonian, not Dutch. —Stephen (Talk) 10:58, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
This might be a dated term, but its usage can still be attested: [here]. Ragityman you can't be more wrong. It's NOT listed as a Dutch synonym. Not sure what gave you that idea. The most common term for a prostitute is hoer or hoertje. JamesjiaoTC 11:05, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
Just realized I was reading Afrikaans.. LoL. I shall retract my erroneous statement. JamesjiaoTC 11:06, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
My bad, gentlemen, I stand corrected. I see, now, there's no Dutch noun sense listed at hoor. It IS Estonian.

Plural?[edit]

Is the plural of Afrikaans "prostituut" really prostitute? Or am I misreading the format? Ragityman (talk) 10:31, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
