Where's the proof that this word means "attractive moral excellence"? I've never heard that before, and my check of dictionary.com doesn't support that definition either.

Rare ?

Perhaps the "rare" tag applied originally to the above usage which failed verification, but most people who have ever studied Latin (even at elementary level) must know the word 'pulchritude means "beauty" -- or is it the case that those of us who remember even a smattering of Latin are becoming "rare"?

(note written after removing "rare" tag from main definition.)

"Rare" means that one is unlikely to meet the word in regular reading.
