I think it is the adjective. The definition seems very similar to the one here; the latter seems not written with pos in mind, but could describe an adjective. I suspect a number of noun usages is causing confusion. — Pingku^dimmi 13:09, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Isn't sense three even more clearly a normal use of an adjective as a noun (fused head}? — This unsigned comment was added by DCDuring (talk • contribs).

RFV-failed for now. I've kept the "Commonplace or mundane things regarded as a class." sense because we also have e.g. the poor. - -sche (discuss) 20:11, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
