Chambers 1908 distinguishes roundness of shape from some other senses: "fullness; smoothness of flow; plainness; boldness". Equinox ◑ 22:01, 3 May 2019 (UTC)

Ch1908 also says that a roundness can be "a kind of muff" (really!). I searched for "in her roundness" (one might put one's hands in one's muff in cold weather etc.) but found nothing much. Equinox ◑ 21:13, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
