Usage and attestations in Philippine English[edit]

@Carl Francis As you don't know, I am searching attestations using Quiet Quentin, and inputting "rubber shoes" only ends in sum-of-parts usages in most English books books (what are you calling "US" sources). I can find Philippine sources, but is too sparse. I'm no linguist, but I know what code-switching is, as in the case of "Taglish" or "Bislish", where we alternate between languages in an conversation, where we add English words to a Tagalog/Filipino or Cebuano/Hiligaynon/Visayan sentence, or switch between the languages back and forth. If you can provide other sources of attestations, I see that you can help.--TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 23:53, 16 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
