"From sharp, spicy flavor of salt." Is that right? (I wouldn't even describe salt as "spicy".) I'd assumed it meant that the person was crying salt tears, i.e. similar suggestion to "butthurt". Equinox 04:22, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

It is interesting that #5 under adjective is still considered dated because it has been revived in recent years. In fact, I think #5 and #6 are pretty much used interchangeably on the Internet.
