Source???[edit]

To give no source at all, where there are probably many, is simply unscientific. HJJHolm (talk) 16:03, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wiktionary is eternally a work in progress. You can add references if you want, or ask someone to do it. — Ungoliant (falai) 16:17, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ETYMOLOGY[edit]

"Originally sanguīs, from older sanguen, from *san- " Is it possible that san is a seperate part? And that GVEN is related to the Turkic: QAN, KIAN - Meaning blood?

To compare, a Turkic and a European comparason (ANGLO-SAXON/ENGLIC & LATIN): Father, Man & Ground/ Earth: ATA - PATER & FATHER (FA-ATA & PA-ATA) ER, ERKEK - WER & VIR TOPRAK, TORAK - TERRA (TER-AK)

Terra without the Latin form (a) or a Turkic form (ak)? TORRA, TORRAK, TERRA, TERRAK WER, ER, WEREK, WIREK, EREK
