Cited—it's only used in reference to the Bible but definitely not limited to the Douay-Rheims text itself. Since a translator (of Cassiodorus) saw fit to use it as recently as 1991 I've changed "obsolete" to "archaic", pace Webster's and the OED, and added the "biblical" context label for good measure. —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 23:45, 24 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
