Sealines are in some instances referring to subsea pipelines or submarine pipelines. The three mentioned terms are used in the offshore oil and gas field developments where pipelines are laid on the seabed connecting fluids from one to point to another. typically contents are

  • Crude or processed oil,
  • Raw or processed natural gas
  • Water to be re-injected to the reservoir
  • gas reinjection in to the reservoir
  • several chemicals required for operational and flow assurance reasons.
