Why is this not from PIE *se (as Latin )? Wyang (talk) 23:01, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

The Latin etymology should be changed to *s(w)e-, which was the PIE third-person reflexive pronoun. As I understand it, the basic meaning of *s(w)e- was separate, apart, and this was used as the reflexive pronoun: accusative = *se, genitive = *sewe/*sei, dative = *sébʰio/*soi (no nominative). —Stephen (Talk) 05:24, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Zoology/genetics sense not covered?[edit]

"The pink eyed white, or albino, is one of the oldest and most popular selfs amongst show breeders, and one that is often in receipt of top awards. Genetically there are almost as many types of pink eyed white as there are other varieties due to the masking effect of the albino gene when homozygous (c/c)."
