TV channel

Although the etymology for using the word 'side' for a tv channel may be out-of-date, aren't most etymologies like this? Most people still use it, so it's not dated in that respect. 2.97.166.22 21:44, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Zid, meaning a wall (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/zid), may possibly be related to the first and second definitions of the noun side.
