Adjective[edit]

Today I first noticed this slang in use on various imageboards, as best I can tell it is synonymous with skinny and probably derived from skeletal. See "tall and skelly" for various results. Appears to trace back to a November 2015 World of Warcraft fanfic by Shadowtyz at https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/19072167472?page=11#220

I would have done more to help with long, tall and skelly, but I was a little incapacitated.

After that, it appears March 2017 at veekyforums, March 2018 on /r9k/, July 2018 on /soc/, August 2018 at /fa/. Something to monitor in case any more notable sources get ahold of it. Ash Carol (talk) 05:45, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
