Seems to me that the prev def "a feeling of excessive concern" might be better defined simply as "special concern or attention" (rather than a 'feeling' of it), in which case it would subsume the next def "Diligence motivated by such a feeling" which seems to me to be overspecified. Certainly the example in the citation from the Polychronicon could be read to simply mean the "care or concern of writers". -Sonofcawdrey (talk) 06:30, 5 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
