Someone added this at solmization: "from the Arabic: سِلْم or سَلْم (salm or seelm) & Hebrew: סֻלָּם (or, סוּלָם-literally, meaning: a ladder hence, figuratively, a musical scale, too." Equinox 00:57, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
