It's in the context of labor and politics and probably not in "business". It is the kind of thing that folks complained about concerning "efficiency experts", at least since F. W. Taylor. DCDuring TALK 17:00, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
It is hard to define the term as a "demand by an employer" without it being PoV. Is a usage such as the following supportive to some kind of generic rhetorical usage?
  • Lua error in Module:quote at line 2664: Parameter 1 is required.

I'm hesitant to reword the definition without taking into account the cite above. This is a term that clearly generates a visceral response and has more than its literal meaning. I'm not sure how one gets cites that unambiguously support the "no increase in pay" part of the definition. DCDuring TALK 17:35, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
