Is this a noun?[edit]

I think this can occasionally be a noun, but I can't find a good attestation for the singular. Here are some for the plural:

    • 1972, The State
"And do I look for dark green lines, red squigglies, broken yellows, or winding reds?" "Fold the map back up, Lou, any way you can, any size or shape...
    • 1991, Electronics World + Wireless World
Graphical devices such as shaped logic gates, Schmitt trigger symbols, and of course squigglies, are a tremendous help...
    • 2007, Pariah S Burke, Mastering InDesign CS3 for Print Design and Production
If you have dynamic spell checking enabled, your pamphlet will become a sea of red squigglies.
    • 2008, Bertrand Meyer, Jim Woodcock, Verified Software: Theories, Tools, Experiments
For example, violations of the non-null type system are indicated by "red squigglies"...
