cited, although most of the uses I found italicise the word, probably indicating code switching, I found two more that do not. Three quotes without italics are on the page, two more with italics are on the citations page. Kiwima (talk) 05:08, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
- The 1991 and 2006 citations look good, but the 1967 citation seems to be a scanno. This scan has a smudge over the u; this scan (the original that the other book is quoting) clearly has status. —Granger (talk · contribs) 11:48, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

The letter "ū"[edit]
What letter is "ū"? Is it "u with a macron"?
Can this be alluded to somewhere in the entry, please?
(And I'm curious to know whether any other purportedly English words use it.)
Also, I suggest the Usage notes should reflect that because some people consider this a foreign term, they italicise it in text.
