  What's a "teletsunami?" I've never heard that expression before.

  * a 100 to 300 meter high tsunami strike in any given 48 hour period, but that except in the event of a local earthquake of mag. 9 or more, enough warning was possible to get out of the way of such a tsunami. Most were teletsunamis from large events at more distant locations.
