Etymology[edit]

I followed Skeat (1910) except were Skeat said

< Middle French < Latin

there I inserted

< Middle French < Old French < Latin

since CNRTL (2012) shows a c.1240 attestation and Littré (1872-77) said < Provencal, Spanish, and Italian teologia < Latin. —BoBoMisiu (talk) 23:15, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Religiology or divinity as hypernyms[edit]

  2. not all theistic religions deem theism as their core component (for example cosmocentralism: the universe or the cosmos, -oi being more important)
