Using “M” as an abbreviation too, besides "K"[edit]
“M” as an abbreviation for thousand dates back to the Roman numeral system. It is still used in instances like CPM, or "cost per thousand impressions". JMGN (talk) 15:40, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
