Sanskrit/Hindi linkage[edit]

Please have a look at the link below. https://www.hindi2dictionary.com/%E0%A4%A4%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%B8%E0%A5%8D%E0%A4%A4-meaning-hindi.html Hindi/Sanskrit also has a similar sounding word and similar meaning. @HarshEtymo The Sanskrit त्रस्त (trasta) which properly means "afraid" is the participle of the verb त्रसति (trasati, to tremble, be afraid of), which comes from an unrelated root. Catonif (talk) 12:37, 13 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
