Just a note: In most youtube videos I hear tur-rit like "fur", closed syllabe. Also, "cupola" is mentioned as a military synonyme - but working with military vehicle docs in 100% of occurrences I find "cupola" as that small thing with periscopes on top of a turret (it's basically for tank commander's head that's why it's called "commander's cupola")
