The etymology already mentions that the term is used to bypass automatic censorship. I think demonetization could be considered a form of censorship in a broad sense. If that's not already satisfactory, though, it could be mentioned explicitly. 70.172.194.25 10:21, 19 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
