Some technical terms in C++ programming[edit]

lvalue and rvalue are fairly well known programming terms (not just in C++), but I recently came across this page [1], which describes the glvalue ("generalized lvalue"), prvalue ("pure rvalue") and xvalue ("expiring value"). These are not identifiers (variable names), nor keywords in the language — both of which we would generally exclude — but are terminology used in describing how the language works. They don't seem attestable from Google Books, at least not yet. Equinox 11:51, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
