"A sense of excitement for the male"?[edit]

Do the following words really belong in Etymology 1? They were added by this edit and, in the absence of sources, don't look serious at all to me.

Often creating a sense of excitement for the male and perhaps the birth of the expression "on the verge" related to "close to".

Well I know how it feels when a verge is on the verge, but still "on the verge" is clearly etymology 2. I deleted it.--88.73.11.62 17:03, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
