@Houflings I think can also be a determiner (besides an adjective use) since Tagalog wala also can indicate the quantity of the noun it modifies. Why do you think not so? Ysrael214 (talk) 08:13, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Houflings Also for the example "wala siya", it functions here as an adjective, but what if it's "walang <verb>" isn't that a doer. Thus, a pronoun? Like, words can function differently as well depending on how we use them?

- @Ysrael214 wala doesnt really look like a determiner, you can have it with ang (which looks like a determiner): ang wala, you can have it with pronouns: wala siya, siya ang wala. numbers also quantify why arent they a determiner? idk how wala in a sentence like wala kang ginawa differs to wala kang gawa, ignoring the the English translation. also gusto as a pseudo-verb is still a noun, like marunong can be translated "to know well", but its still a ma- adjective. idk doe about this last part...
