Tan Delta test (plural Tan Delta tests)

  1. A test to measure the degree of deterioration of an electrical insulation which is performed at two temperature by applying AC voltage to the test object and measure the total current flow through it, and separating and comparing the reactive and resistance portions of the current passing through it.
