Monosyllabic Chinese County Names in English[edit]
- I would prefer that we just add the monosyllable names of counties in China as entries- for instance Xi instead of Xi County or etc. That doesn't mean we can't have a Xixian too- that is equally as legitimate if there are three durably archived cites.

- Here is the list of entries of monosyllable county names I've already made:
- Cheng
- Dan/Tan
- Fan
- Gu
- Gui County
- Ji
- Jiang

- Pi-LlywelynII
- Qi
- Qin
- Sui
- Xi-- Merriam Webster dictionary has entries for one syllable Mandarin derived terms- https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/xi
- Xia
- Yan-LlywelynII
- etc.
- Huixian is a city
I believe these monosyllable names are no harder for English speakers to accept than Xia, Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui, Tang, Song, Ming, and Qing.
