Plural of alma mater

Is almae matres used in English? If so, it belongs as its own entry, not on the inflection line of an alternative form. --EncycloPetey 22:28, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I couldn't find the Latin plural of alma mater, after much searching on the web, found almae matres, added it to the plural page, you changed it back. Feedback?

No, you put it one the page for alma maters, not on the page for alma mater. Also, you put it in an English section. If it's Latin, then it should be in a section for Latin, not English. In any case, for Latin, we usually put the genitive singular in the inflection line, not the nominative plural.
