I think that nearly, approximately, etc. should get this under "synonyms". See approximately and tell me if you disagree. Wnt 17:47, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Basically nearly is gradable and appromixately isn't. I don't think you need a box (we use them a lot less than Wikipedia) just add something under ====Usage notes====. I think it's relevant, but not well presented IMO. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:49, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'd disagree about approximately. I think that "very approximately" is rather widely used, at least in scientific circles, to mean "more approximate than approximately". - It currently seems to deal exclusively with "very", so it might be better just on that page. For future reference, templates should start with a lowercase letter (like entries). Conrad.Irwin 18:18, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- The last section is actually an altogether different point. I also didn't think it belonged under "very" because that modifies so many different words, while "nearly" is only modified by a few. The section originated as a sort of caveat regarding whether nearly and approximately were synonymous. Wnt 18:31, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
