Etymology[edit]

Acronym of warm and fuzzy feeling(s). Reportedly coined by fans of the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993-1997).[1] First attested on alt.tv.lois-n-clark as part of a fandom glossary in January 1996.[2]
