Translations[edit]

Including translations is one of the most compelling arguments for keeping a wide selection of organization names. One could require translations to support inclusion to be non-compositional, not following directly from the translations of the parts. However, not too many editors can make the determination. The problem with this rationale is that it is liable to include very many organization names.

This rationale could be used to include at least, say, top 10 000 organizations based on some arbitrary criteria, or top 1000 at least. It would be more valuable than our 10,000 solid-written entries prefixed with non-.
