Middle Persian[edit]

I wish I could view Middle Persian text in a sort of font. --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 12:08, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Download ZH Mono and Shapour (for Inscriptional Pahlavi script) and Ahuramazda (for Avestan script). I don't add them to the page since the it is old and needs to be rewritten, there's a more comprehensive one at w:en:Help:Multilingual support. --Z 13:57, 27 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Linear B[edit]

On Windows 10, there are system-wide issues with Linear B and some other rare (and/or historic) scripts in virtually any browser-font combination, including Aegean.otf and Firefox, Chrome, Edge. The characters are not displayed, and programs like BabelMap do not detect available font for this script automatically, you have to force show it to the program. — This unsigned comment was added by 207.47.249.94 (talk) at 01:54, 6 May 2016 (UTC).Reply

That is not really Wiktionary's problem though. I think there are templates put on pages with uncommon characters notifying views that the characters might not render correctly. Entries for characters sometimes have png or svg images as thumbnails: b, p, d, etc.; having images of the characters could kind of fix the problem you wrote about. Also we are missing
https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E0%BA%AA%E0%BA%B1 - "ສັ - Wiktionary"
along with other entries for other characters. --User123o987name (talk) 07:13, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
