Some questions

Maybe I missed something, but would the "hotword" tag remain on a page until the approrpriate amount of time has elapsed? Vininn126 (talk) 16:23, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

@Vininn126 The documentation at {{hot word}} says that pages with this template 'fail the Criteria For Inclusion only on the "spanning more than a year" requirement, but are otherwise includable.' I expect that this would continue. If the first cite is from 1.5 years ago and the latest cite is from yesterday, it's no longer a hot word and the template can come off.

I didn't stipulate that in the vote text because it doesn't make a lot of sense for a policy called "criteria for inclusion" to mandate templates and other details of entry structure and formatting. (The one template prescribed by CFI currently, {{LDL}}, is hardly ever used as intended anyway. I can think of three possible reasons why: it is green and massive and ugly, it adds no value, and people don't expect CFI to mandate the use of the template. But I digress...)
