Rade[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Borrowed from French japonais (Japanese), apparently made up by Tadahiko Shintani for his Rade-Vietnamese-Japanese dictionary. Rade TV shows cover mainly local news of the Central Highlands, so it is unclear what the name of the foreign country would be like, although it is more likely that they would adopt the Vietnamese name Nhật Bản like some other government-related words.
