- (dated, fandom slang) Back cover of a book, magazine or similar medium.
- 1951 November, Lee Hoffman, “The Ether Jiggles”, in Science-Fiction Five-Yearly[1], number 1, page 3:
- Gleefully we perused those two copies, noting such achievements as a five-color bacover (counting black).
- 1959, Richard "Dick" Harris Eney, Fancyclopedia II[2], Eavesdroppings:
- They are a sort of bacover-quote, a lot of "-actual incredible things fans have said to one another."
