From Proto-Balto-Slavic *blend-. Cognate with Latvian bliêzt, Proto-Slavic *blęsti.
Verb[edit]
blę̃sti (third-person present tense bleñdžia, third-person past tense bleñdė)
- to sleep, stir flour into soup, talk nonsense, become cloudy
