English[edit]

Etymology[edit]

bugger +‎ -ee

Noun[edit]

buggeree (plural buggerees)

  1. A person who is sodomized.
    • 1982, Gershon Legman, No Laughing Matter: An Analysis of Sexual Humor:
The fantasy of auto-sodomy is of great psychological interest, as both an acceptance of passive homosexual rape and a simultaneous defiance of it, since the actor is at once both bugger and buggeree.
    • 2003, Humberto Fontova, The Hellpig Hunt:
But you're referring to the buggerers, Tom. Remember the buggeree?
    • 2008, Joseph A. Massad, Desiring Arabs, page 385:
The irony for Ibrahim and Sharaf is that all the characters, whether buggerers or buggerees, are always already buggered by globalization and that the physical sexual act that they fear has already happened to them at much deeper levels.
