Romanian[edit]

Etymology[edit]

Borrowed from or based on Latin cōnsequentia (19th cent.), in an attempt to make the word seem closer to a naturally occurring or inherited word in Romanian, using the suffix -ință. Compare the doublet consecvență, also borrowed from the same source, but not modified as much in this manner.

Pronunciation[edit]

  • IPA(key): /konseˈt͡ʃint͡sə/

Noun[edit]
