core loop (plural core loops)

      A core loop often looks like this: Action → Reward. In checkers this is jump a piece (action) → capture a piece (reward). In other words, do a thing and then get a thing. Some games have simple core loops like checkers, whereas others have more interactions that fill out the core loop with many steps, sub loops, and complexities.
