     The "It's [current year], [insert Woke cause here] argument,” — aside from being a logical fallacy — also presupposes that the speaker is some kind of Superhuman; ultra modern, hyper-aware, super smart, well-educated, and mega-woke.

Usage notes

• Generally used by the right wing to sarcastically mock those who make appeals to progressive moral standards such as "I can't believe you still think that in 2024!" The mocking reply might be "I can't believe you still think that in current year!"
