Etymology[edit]

Coined by Graham Priest and Richard Routley, from di- +‎ Ancient Greek ἀλήθεια (alḗtheia, truth), in 1981.

Noun[edit]

dialetheia (plural dialetheias or dialetheia)

  1. A statement that is both true and false; a true contradiction.
