From Japanese 道場長 (dōjōchō, literally “dojo chief, dojo head”).

Usage notes[edit]
The dojocho is not always the chief instructor or highest ranked person, but has an administrative role, or has ownership of the dōjō. The title is used in Japanese martial arts such as judo, karate, kendo, aikido, etc.
