Spanish[edit]

Pronoun[edit]

el que sea

  1. whichever

Usage notes[edit]

  • The gender of the article depends on the gender of the set or group chosen from. For instance, the Spanish word for magazine, revista, is feminine. So to the question "Which magazine do you want?", the response "whichever" would be "la que sea".
  • Rarely used in the plural, the correct conjugations are las que sean and los que sean.
