From translingual Encrinus, from Ancient Greek ἐν- (en-, in) + κρίνον (krínon, lily).

Noun[edit]

encrinus (plural encrini)

  1. (paleontology) Any of a genus Encrinus of fossil encrinoidea from the Mesozoic rocks.
