    • 1792, Thomas Cooper, A reply to Mr. Burke's invective against Mr. Cooper, and Mr. Watt[1], page 4:
      He ſaid, this was nothing of fancy or invention but an avowal, that there were Clubs in this country who bound themſelves by a fœderation with thoſe regicides to approve their conduct and act in concert with them ; upon this he dwelt for a conſiderable time with much ſeverity.
