1. (transitive) To count beforehand.
   • 1895, The Dublin Review:

     But there is no need to thus “forecount the years.”

2. (transitive) To prejudge or esteem in advance.
   • 1789, Henry Home (Lord Kames.), Introduction to the Art of Thinking:

     […] Men always forecount their wives prudent, and their children dutiful.
