Sino-Vietnamese word from 階乘. The more common reading thừa is used instead of thặng. Compare Mandarin 階乘/阶乘 (jiēchéng), Cantonese 階乘/阶乘 (gaai1 sing4), Japanese 階乗 (kaijō), Korean 계승 (gyeseung).
