loaded march (plural loaded marches)

  1. (military) A movement on foot by soldiers who must, in order to satisfy a the requirement of the drill, march long distances at full speed while carrying a full load of supplies.

Usage notes[edit]

  • Known as a forced foot march in the US Army.
